What is The SAT/ACT?
The SAT and ACT are tests used by many colleges to evaluate a students preparedness. The test are designed to evaluate your understanding of Mathmatical concepts, English grammar, and ability to synthesize text. There are useful free resources to get you started at www.collegeboard.org. for the SAT and www.act.org for the ACT.
There are many tutors and programs to choose from when looking for more support than free resources can provide. We set ourselves apart by focusing on helping students understand and not merely memorize. We offer one on one tutoring, small group boot camps, and have an online self-paced course. What is Step Up for Students?
Step Up for Students is a scholarship program for Florida Homeschoolers. You can apply and get thousands of dollars a year to use toward curriculum, services, and supplies, including our Boot Camps! You can learn more about Step Up For Students by heading to their website stepupforstudents.org
Personalized Education Program Scholarship (PEP) is a scholarship that most Florida Homeschoolers can qualify for but may take a few months depending on certain criteria.
Family Empowerment Scholarship for Unique Abilities is for Florida homeschool students who have a diagnosed disability. You can learn more about eligibility on page 6 of the handbook linked above.
